Mentor interview with Andrew gasaway
1. What interested you to become an architect?
-Since my father was a builder, I was around the construct a lot of my childhood. Being around the construction made me curious of how things were being put together and how these buildings are actually designed.
2. How long have you been an architect, either in your own firm or at another firm?
-I have been a licensed architect since 1964, at another firm right out of Tulane University.
3. How did you arrive at your current position?
-Striving to be the best I could be in my profession, and a lot of hard work.
4. Tell me about your biggest professional accomplishment.
-When I was in the position to open my own firm and create my own buildings and designs.
5. What advice would you have for someone that is interested in becoming an architect?
-Look into your own dreams and find direction in which to go to accomplish being able to create a known environment for mankind.
